Lamesa Middle School
Room 312

I teach technology classes at Middle School. I have worked several years for Lamesa Independent School District including Lamesa High School and Lamesa Middle School.  I will be teaching Career Exploration and Professional Communication.
Although an education is no guarantee for success, it does give options and opens opportunities. Technology is here and is used in almost every aspect of our lives. Students should be familiarized with current technology. Students also need to have a Plan A, Plan B, Plan C and maybe even more and remember this is an ever changing business environment. They need to be prepared for educational challenges as well as professional challenges which will enter their lives.

I enjoy teaching and decided to return to teaching after many years in the business world.  I am also the LMS Student Council Sponsor.

I have one child left at home who is attending Howard College.

My conference time is 1st period at Middle School (8:00 - 8:45).

Please leave a message at the desk, 872-8301, and I will return your call.

Students will use the computer as a tool to produce proper documents in WORD.

This will be the first 6 to 9 weeks of class followed by EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and Photoshop. The students will integrate all programs and use a computer more efficiently.

I expect students to be on time, ready to work, follow directions, and be respectful to everyone in the class at all times.

Professional Communication

Students will prepare presentations in this class both oral and video.  Students will also work on professional production work.  By the end of class the students should be much more comfortable presenting information to a group and producing individual projects. Students will also hone their skills in listening, vocabulary, and group activities in the class.
