This is my nineteenth year as an educator. I graduated from Dalhart High School and continued my education at Texas Tech University, earning a Bachelors of Science and followed that with a Masters in Educational Leadership from Wayland Baptist University. I taught technology and coached at Estacado High School for ten years. I also taught in Florida for a year and a half, and came back to Texas to teach outside of Austin, for three and a half more years at Hays and Lehman High Schools. I was an administrator at Estacado High School for one year, before continuing as an Assistant Principal at Lamesa Middle School and Lamesa High School.
My wife’s name is Anna, and we have one son, Alec, who is currently attending South Plains College. My wife, Anna is also an educator and we both feel blessed to be in such a rewarding profession.
